Why not Botswana in August?

November 22, 2021

I had a brief break in my schedule late August and immediately thought “that’s enough time for a trip to Africa!.” At breakneck speed Peter and I sent a messages out to our travel advisors and friends and quickly settled on Botswana. Is there a more perfect place to travel to during a Pandemic? A remote outdoor oriented trip was just perfect.

One out two of our travel friends begged out at the last moment so a party of three it was. We flew in and out of various camps in the Okavango Delta region of Botswana and were pampered the entire time. We saw amazing landscapes and wildlife, some of which I attempted to capture with my Nikon.

I will add to my photographic gallery this winter after the school semester ends. In the meantime please wish me luck on my upcoming school projects, I need it!

Thank you Botswana Safari Company for helping us arrange our trip and thank you to my husband for taking the time out of his busy schedule for making it possible.
