Village Life in Eastern Uganda

June 23, 2025

I lived a few months in Buweswa, a parish in Manafwa located in the Mbale district. When the weather was clear I would take a hike in the mountains behind my house. I was often moody at site, it rained every day, and there were only a few old men who bicycled. My American friends from the southwestern part of the country understand me. We require clear skies and open vistas. We walk, hike, run, or ride as much as time allows.

This man seemed bemused my my excitement of seeing a cyclist that day.
